Heh Julie.. it sounds like you are being accepted by the kids, are the adults as open to you? I've read before that sometimes, when a stranger comes into a community, it takes a while before they are part of the village. Knowing your athletic abilities, you are a great role model for the teens. Love you postings!
The kids definitely accept me much quicker than the adults. However there are some older people who are welcoming from the start and others just seem to sit back and watch me, see what I'm all about. But, yes, it will definitely take a good while until I am "part of the community". Thanks for following!
